How does OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS work?

Years of scientific work have investigated which nutrients need to be supplied to our intestines so that they can optimally fulfil their functions. OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS contains a special combination of high-quality vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as valuable short-chain carbohydrates, so-called fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and galactooligosaccharides (GOS), which serve as food for certain bacteria.:

• The contained vitamin B2 serves to maintain normal mucosal function and helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Calcium plays an important role in the normal function of digestive enzymes and vitamin D & zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
• Fructo-oligosaccharides and galacto-oligosaccharides (FOS/GOS) are special carbohydrates that serve as food for certain bacteria. They stimulate the multiplication of the specific bacteria such as Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii as well as the conversion of food to short-chain fatty acids (such as butyrate).
